CTI's commitment to improving the world in which we live isn't limited to just what we can do in the context of our life-changing work. We are also committed to doing what we can to improve the communities in which we live and work.
The CTI Cares program is an employee-driven monthly giving program through which employees can raise funds and awareness for their favorite charities. The program was established in response to the great interest of our employees who want to give back to society, and in part due to the prior success we’ve had in charitable giving programs.
CTI began supporting John G. Carlisle Elementary in 2015 by choosing it as the CTI Cares spotlight for December of that year. Since then, the CTI community has chosen to regularly support the school, selecting it again for the CTI Cares organization of the month in December of 2016, August of 2017, and December of 2017. CTI employees have donated coats, gifts, school supplies, and gift cards to be distributed to the children at the school and to their families. CTI employees also contributed cash donations in December of 2016 that, combined with the company match, the dollars were able to create an emergency fund to help support students in need throughout the entire year.
In addition to monetary and physical contributions, the CTI Research Associates department has been participating in the “Adopt A Class Program” mentorship program, facilitated by the Adopt a Class Foundation (www.aacfoundation.com). As part of this program, Research Associates (RAs) visit a second grade class monthly to work with the students on projects and activities that promote the academic disciplines of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Since the visits are limited to once a month, the school and the RA department have also coordinated to establish a pen pal system where CTI research associates are assigned one or two students with whom to exchange letters to help students enhance their writing skills.
CTI is proud to be a Corporate Partner in DePaul Cristo Rey High School's Corporate Work Study program. The work study program allows at-risk youth access to a high-quality education while simultaneously providing them with valuable office experience. As part of the program, CTI welcomes a weekly rotation of four students into the RiverCenter headquarters as interns to learn about the day-to-day activities of a global organization. To learn more about the program, visit the DePaul Cristo Rey website.
In an effort to help educate future generations, CTI partners with colleges and universities in the Greater Cincinnati area to develop programs through which students can earn degrees or certifications in Clinical Trial Related areas of studies.
CTI has partnered with Keep Covington Beautiful, a Covington, KY based nonprofit organization, to help take care of the community in which we live and work. The Research Associates chose a plot of land near the office and dedicate time each month to making sure it is litter-free and generally well taken care of.
