Tim Schroeder, CEO
"Our mission is to deliver outstanding customer service, execute high quality projects on-time and on-budget, and conduct trials that benefit the lives of critically and chronically ill patients."
CTI was founded in 1999 to provide therapeutic expertise to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry across a range of services. We have experienced consistent and significant growth from a US-based organization to a multi-national corporation with associates in more than 25 countries across the world. We have worked on more than 3,500 projects on six continents during the company lifetime, and have contributed to more than 100 new drug and device approvals through global regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMA, and others.
Currently, we work with more than 120 pharmaceutical and emerging biotechnology companies. Our therapeutic expertise has continued to be focused around a critically ill patient population, which allows us to differentiate ourselves from other service providers. A consistent repeat business rate of over 95% demonstrates the strong relationships that our team establishes with our sponsors. We have developed a culture of passion and persistence to make a commitment to every sponsor. This commitment extends throughout our organization starting with our leaders who play a significant role in our sponsor’s projects and continue to remain involved from inception to completion. We also have a very high employee retention rate; turnover rate is less than half the industry average, which provides consistency and continuity across projects.
CTI has been the recipient of numerous awards in the industry and community, including the, Oracle Health Science’s Award for “Accelerating Interests for Better Health”, the Goering Center Private Business Award, Cincinnati Business Courier’s Emerging International Business Award and has been named both a Cincinnati Business Courier’s Best Places to Work and a Cincinnati Enquirer’s Top Work Places multiple times, including in 2016. CTI was recently honored with the 2017 Thoroughbred Award by the NKY-Tri Ed and was named Corporation of the Year 2014 by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. CTI is also a member of BioOhio, the Blue Ash Life Sciences Collaborative, Pennsylvania Bio, and BIO Deutschland.
We have optimism for the future of health care based upon the cutting edge research we actively lead. Cures for debilitating diseases and prevention of catastrophic illnesses are possible in the next 10 to 15 years with advances in fields such as regenerative medicine and personalized therapies. We are privileged to be in a leadership role for these exciting and life-changing projects.
