CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services Announces Promotion of Dr. James Maynard

CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), a multi-national, privately held, full-service contract research organization (CRO) proudly announces the promotion of Dr. James Maynard to Senior Medical Director.

"As our business continues to expand both as a CRO and a clinical research site, Jim will continue to play a large role in the success of our programs."
James Maynard, MD promoted to Senior Medical Director
Dr. Maynard is a board-certified neurologist specializing in sleep medicine who joined CTI full-time in 2015 after collaborating with the CTI Clinical Research Center (CRC) for more than 6 years as a research physician. In his primary role as a medical leader at the CRC, Dr. Maynard serves as the Principal Investigator for many of the clinical trials and helps to manage the work of other research physicians involved in the studies. In addition, he provides invaluable services to the CTI safety group by reviewing Serious Adverse Event narratives, serves as an unblinded medical monitor when the need arises, provides support to the business development team, and has provided company-wide training on topics including sleep, the glymphatic system, and diseases of the central nervous system.
Prior to joining CTI, Dr. Maynard practiced neurology and sleep medicine for nearly 25 years. He is licensed in four states and is certified by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Maynard earned his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin and his Bachelor of Science from Marquette University.
