FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [Covington, KY ~ March 22, 2018]
CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), a multi-national, privately held, full-service contract research organization is pleased to announce the promotions of Joseph (Joe) Mooney and Sandy Stagge to Senior Corporate Counsel and Senior Director, Clinical Trials, respectively.
Joe began his career at CTI in 2014 as Corporate Counsel. He immediately made an impact at CTI, becoming a quick study on the intricacies and art of sponsor contract drafting and negotiation.
"He has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to immerse himself in a subject and quickly become a subject-matter expert, a critical skillset in the corporate counsel position," remarks Paul Ritter, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. "Working with him is a pleasure, and we look forward to seeing his future accomplishments."
In his new role, Joe will continue to handle virtually all contracting work for CTI's clinical research center while assuming responsibility for the company’s risk management program, which procures and maintains all global lines of casualty and liability coverage.
Sandy joined CTI more than a decade ago, quickly progressing through the roles of Study Management. She has been serving as a Director of Clinical Trials since 2013. Sandy has been instrumental in the successful execution of multiple large, complex, global studies. Sandy has also participated in a number of bid defenses and capability presentations and is an asset to the BD team in helping CTI to grow the backlog of new business.
"Sandy is the epitome of professionalism," describes Melanie Bruno, Vice President, Clinical Trial Operations. "She has an analytical gift, and is able to dissect complex situations to determine what needs to be done to move projects forward."
In her new role, Sandy will continue to actively support her assigned studies, while serving as a mentor, serving as a back-up on studies, and managing multiple direct reports.
